COUNTY RESPONSIBILITIES <br />1.01 Enforcement of Anti-Smokino Laws, The COUNTY, through its Health <br />Department, shall assume all responsibility within the jurisdiction of the CITY for <br />enforcement of Labor Code section 6404.5, including but not necessarily limited to: <br />receiving and investigating complaints, inspecting business premises for purposes of <br />establishing compliance, and instituting such administrative and/or legal action as may'be <br />appropriate to compel compl',ance with anti-smoking laws. <br />1.02 Investigation of Complaint Upon receipt of a complaint regarding the <br />violation of Labor Code section 6404.5 within the CITY, the COUNTY Health Department <br />shall promptly investigate said complaint, and take appropriate acfion, if necessary, to <br />correct the violation. The COUNTY will act on complaints as received, and may, at its <br />discretion, assign personnel to conduct periodic inspections of business establishments <br />within the CITY's jurisdiction to determine the extent of compliance with State anti-smoking <br />laws. <br />1.03 Ad_m_ini§JwJ*=.
