Crowe, Aeft/Chief of Police <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL- <br />TIME POSITION OF POLICE DISPATCHER I <br />DATE: February 25, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: This is one (1) Police Dispatcher I grant position that is currently vacant. <br />Attached is the job description for the classification: salary range is $ 1,748.00 - 2,126.00 per <br />month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted and an eligibility list <br />established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and <br />experience requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funding availability for this grant funded position, in the fiscal year <br />1997-98 budget is as follows: Account No. 100-6070-6086-1010 (salary) and Account No. 100- <br />6070-6086-1100 (salary related benefits) <br />Patrick G.
