Section 3. COUNCIL ACTION: <br />If this agreement is acceptable to the City Council, then the <br />City Council shall adopt the agreement by appropriate action at <br />the first scheduled meeting following the signing of this <br />agreement. <br />Section 4. Maintenance of Benefits <br />All other terms and conditions of employment in existence <br />immediately prior to the effective date of this MOU and not <br />altered by this MOU, shall remain the same, unchanged, and in <br />full force and effect unless altered by the mutual agreement of <br />the City and the Union. <br />Section 5. Waiver Clause <br />Except as stated in other portions of this MOU the City and the <br />Union, for the life of this MOU, each agrees that the other <br />shall not be obligated to meet and confer with respect to any <br />subject or matter referred to or covered in this MOU. However, <br />they may meet by mutual agreement or as required by Government <br />Code, Section 3504.5. <br />DATED: J' / !
