Section B of the Station Manning clause of the Constant <br />Manning policy. <br />5. The City agrees to contracting with PERS to provide the <br />1959 Survivor's Benefit level 4 for all unit employees. <br />The cost of the benefit will be paid by the members in the <br />unit and not by the City. <br />6. The City agrees to adding uniform T-shirts to the existing <br />uniform replacement policy. (see Exhibit B) <br />7. The City agrees to adding the layoff and demotion policy to <br />the current lay off policy (see Exhibit C). <br />8. The City agrees to the following language on reciprocity. <br />"Should any other City bargaining units receive an increase <br />in salary and/or benefits during the term of this MOU, <br />employees covered by this MOU shall be granted an increase <br />so that the City's contribution on their behalf equals that <br />of the other unit's employees. This reciprocity agreement <br />shall remain in effect through the full term of this MOU or <br />upon the deletion of all other similar clauses (i.e., <br />internal parity) from ratified MOUS of all other City <br />units, whichever occurs sooner." <br />9. The City agrees to the elimination of the long term <br />disability coverage from the "cafeteria plan" and instead <br />making a contribution of $26.77 per month per employee to <br />offset the cost of the PERS Survivor's benefit (#5 above) <br />with the remainder used to adjust uniform allowance. <br />Members will purchase their own LTD insurance. <br />GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />Section 1. Effect of MOU <br />It is agreed that the specific provisions contained in this MOU <br />shall prevail over City policies and procedures and over state <br />laws to the extent permitted by state law. <br />Section 2.
