� <br />r <br />� <br />� <br />� <br />� <br />�� <br />� J <br />� <br />� <br />� <br />� <br />� <br />1.2.20 Substitute or "Or Equal" Item� <br />The WORK, if awarded, will be on the basis of materials and equipment <br />described in the Drawings or specified in the Technical Specifications <br />without consideration of possible substitute or "or-equal" items. <br />Whenever it is indicated in the Drawings or specified in the Technical <br />specifications that a substitute or "or-equal" itern of material or <br />equipment may be furnished or used by the Contractor if acceptable to <br />the Engineer, application for such acceptance will not be considered <br />by the Engineer until after the effective date of the Agreement. The <br />procedure for submittal of any such application by the Contractor and <br />consideration by the Engineer is set forth in the section "CONTR.ACTOR <br />SUBMITTAL". <br />1.2.21 Summarv <br />� <br />The following completed items or documents must be submitted in a <br />sealed envelope, labeled as previously described, in order for a bid <br />to be considered. <br />A. Completed proposal form that is bound in a set of <br />specifications, <br />B. Proposal guaranty in an amount not less than ten percent (10$) <br />of the aggregate amount of the Contractor's bid. <br />C. Non-Collusion Statement. <br />1.2-6 <br />
