In addition, in lieu of implementing the compensation <br />study for Executive Management in fiscal years 1999/2000 and 2000/2001 the City Manager <br />recommends increasing the top of each Executive Management salary range by 5% in July of <br />1999 and July 2000. To be eligible for this "merit pay" each Executive Manager will be <br />evaluated on how successful they are in meeting their departmental goals and objectives. (R-93- <br />98) <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The cost of the agreements are estimated for the first year is $237,000 <br />and the second year is $306,000.
