City Councils within this county have adopted
individual resolutions supporting the elimination of these booking fees.
This agenda supports a resolution requesting the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County
consider the eliminate of booking fees in the 1999-2000 fiscal year.
FISCAL EWIAC he elimination of booking fees would result in an expendentitures
reduction of approximately $96,000 per year in the police department budget.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the approval of the attached resolution supporting
the repeal of booking fees in San Bernardino County.
Prepared by: P.G. Crowe, Acting Chief of Police
Item # 14
