R-89-98 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF JACK'S DISPOSAL SERVICE'S <br />PERMIT, BUSINESS LICENSE AND FRANCHISE AGREEMENT <br />AND APPROVING ADDENDUM THERETO <br />WHEREAS Jack's Disposal Service is authorized to collect, remove and <br />dispose of refuse within the City pursuant to a permit, Business License and <br />Franchise Agreement for the Collection, Removal, Recycling and Disposal of Solid <br />Waste, dated as of July 1, 1992 (the "permit"); and <br />WHEREAS Section 1 of the Permit provides that the initial term thereof <br />shall be seven (7) years from the effective date thereof, and further provides that <br />the City shall have the option to extend this Permit for an additional seven (7) year <br />period; and <br />WHEREAS the City Council voted on August 18, 1998 to exercise the City's <br />option to extend the Permit according to Section 1 thereof; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve, <br />determine, and order as follows: <br />1. Pursuant to Section 1 of the Permit, Business License and Franchise <br />Agreement for the Collection, Removal, Recycling and Disposal of Solid <br />Waste between the City and Jack's Disposal Service, dated as of July 1, <br />
