City of Colton <br />Agenda Report <br />September 15, 1998 <br />Page 2 <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />As stipulated in the analysis performed by Ms Homig, there are facts raised that would <br />support the prudence of renegotiating a new agreement with Jack's Disposal Service <br />(Attachment 3). The motion was however for staff to return with a Resolution extending <br />the existing Permit with the addition of an addendum providing AB 939 Reporting, <br />Protocol and Indemnification. The attached Resolution and Addendum are the <br />documents agreed upon in consideration of the motion. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />Jack's Disposal will continue to pay a Franchise Fee of 15 percent of its gross revenue <br />generated in the City of Colton. There would be no direct fiscal impact as a result of <br />this action. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />In consideration of the motion approved by the majority of the City Council on August <br />181 1998, staff recommends the approval of Resolution NO. RL 2� in concert with <br />the attached Addendum (Exhibit A). <br />Attachments <br />
