Planning Commission Minutes <br />March 9, 1999 <br />Page 4 <br />Public Hearing Opened and Closed without comment. <br />Commissioner Prieto moved to approve File Index Number D-01-99; seconded by <br />Commissioner Carter, motion carried. <br />ITEM H - DIRECTOR'S REMARKS/REVIEW OF CITY COUNCIL AGENDAS <br />Mr. Zamora informed the Commission that the City Council did consider the Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) program at their last meeting. He stated that the City had been allocated <br />$368,000 for grants. He indicated that Code Enforcement had been funded and that there were <br />capital improvements projects (street overlays) funded for District 2 and that various public service <br />projects had also been funded. <br />ITEM I - COMMISSION COMMENT <br />Commissioner Prieto thanked Staff for their reports and responses. Commissioner Carter concurred. <br />Commissioner Prieto inquired as to any changes being considered to the Sign Ordinance. Mr. <br />Zamora indicated that the Ad -Hoc Sign Committee had been meeting regularly and that they would <br />be presenting the Commission with possible changes within the next few months. <br />ITEM J - ADJOURNMENT <br />Commissioner Suchil moved to adjourn the meeting; seconded by Chairperson Oliva; the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br />Respectfully Su <br />I6avid R.
