City Council Meeting - December 7, 1999 <br />Approval of CDBG Project Proposal Applications <br />Page 2 <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The CDBG Program is operated on a reimbursement basis. The City will be required to <br />expand funds up front, however, the City will be reimbursed 100% for all eligible project <br />costs. The City will receive approximately $368,000 towards CDBG projects for Fiscal <br />Year 2000-2001. <br />Development Director <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />All CDBG funded projects are required to comply with the federal National Environmental <br />Protection Act (NEPA) and State of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) prior to <br />implementation, to determine environmental impacts. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions: <br />1. Allow citizen comment on the CDBG Project Proposal Applications on the attached list. <br />2. Approve all of the CDBG Project Proposal Applications on the attached list for <br />submittal to the County of San Bernardino for eligibility and qualification review for <br />funding from the CDBG Program for Fiscal Year 2000-2001. <br />3.
