R-100-99 <br />2 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />3 APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT PROJECT APPLICATIONS TO THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO <br />4 FOR ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATION REVIEW FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />5 2000-2001. <br />sl I WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a Cooperation <br />7 Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and, <br />8 WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton will receive approximately <br />9 $368,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2000-2001; and, <br />10 WHEREAS, the City has been informed by the County Department of Economic and <br />11 Community Development that they are accepting CDBG Project Proposal Applications for <br />12 Eligibility and Qualification Review for the Fiscal Year 2000-2001; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has received Project Proposal Applications and has conducted <br />13 community meetings to provide for and encourage citizen participation in developing project <br />14 proposals. <br />15 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />16 submits the following CDBG Project Proposal Applications to the County of San Bernardino <br />17 Department of Economic and Community Development to determine eligibility and qualification <br />for the use of CDBG funds for Fiscal Year 2000-2001: <br />18 1. City of Colton, Public Works Department, Street Improvements -Northeast Colton <br />19 "Missing Links" - $169,037 <br />20 2. City of Colton, Public Library, Adult Literacy Services Program - $24,000 <br />21 3.
