The City Council hereby declares that it is its intention to seek <br />the Formation and Annual Levy of the District pursuant to the Act over and including the <br />land within the District boundary, and to levy and collect annual assessments on all such land <br />to pay the costs of the following: Operation, maintenance and services for street trees, <br />parkways, median islands, perimeter landscaping slopes, open space and all appurtenant <br />facilities and operations related thereto, as well as the servicing and maintenance of street <br />lights and operations related thereto. <br />Section 2. Notice of Public Hearing. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC MEETING AND A PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON THESE MATTERS WELL BE HELD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON AT 6-00 P.M., ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 3,1999, OR AS <br />SOON THEREAFTER AS FEASIBLE IN THE REGULAR MEETING CHAMBERS <br />LOCATED AT 650 NORTH LA CADENA DRIVE9 COLTON, CALIFORNIA 92324. <br />Section 3 Notice. The District shall give notice of the time and place of the Public <br />Meeting and Public Hearing to be mailed by first class mail to all property owners within the <br />proposed District who will receive a new or increased assessment, not less than 45 days prior <br />to the Public Hearing. The City Clerk shall also give notice of the time and place of the <br />Public Meeting and the Public Hearing by causing the publishing of this Resolution twice in a <br />newspaper of general circulation for two (2) consecutive weeks not less than ten (10) days <br />before the date of the hearings, and by posting a copy of this Resolution on the official <br />bulletin board customarily used by the City Council for the posting of notices. <br />FA <br />
