Let's help promote this most prestigious award by selecting and submitting those <br />outstanding families. <br />TIME SCHEDULE - 1999 <br />Start Now, All Clubs embark on program to select suitable families for awards <br />at the club level. <br />April 30, 1999 All participating Clubs should have selected their family, presented <br />them with a Certificate or appropriate award of their choice and <br />submitted the family application to the division. <br />May 15, 1999 The division Lt. Governor should have selected the division's <br />representative, appropriately present the recipient of choice with an <br />award as the Division Family of the Year and pass the fa mily <br />material on to the Foundation. <br />(Material should be sent to James B. Turner, Foundation <br />Chairman, "Families of the Year Award", 9112 Eastwind Cir., <br />Bakersfield, California 93306-5073). <br />Most Divisions do not have funds for such an award; you might ' <br />consider having the club who submits the selected family provide an <br />award.' <br />June 1, 1999 The District "FAMILIES OF THE YEAR" will be selected and <br />notified. <br />August, 1999 The "FAMILY OF THE YEAR AWARD" Kiwanian family and <br />non-Kiwanian family will be presented at the District Convention <br />in Bakersfield, California. <br />
