Assembled examination: An examination conducted at a specified time and place at which <br />applicants are required to appear for competitive examination under the supervision of an <br />examiner. <br />b. Unassembled examination: An examination consisting of an appraisal of training, <br />experience, work history, or any other means for evaluation of relative qualifications of <br />applicants without the necessity for their personal appearance at a specified place. <br />SECTION 13: F[TLL-TIlVIE EMPLOYEE An empioyee regutarly working foriy hours or more per <br />week. <br />SECTION 14: HALF-TIlv1E EMPLOYEE Tweniy hours per week. <br />SECTION 15; PART-TIME EMPLO�EE An employee regularly working less than full time. <br />SECTION I6: PERMANENT EMPLOYEE A regular employee who has comgleted the <br />probationary period in his position and has beenretained as hereafter provided in these rules. <br />SECTION 1'7: PROBATIONARY PERIOD A working test period during which an employee is <br />required to demonstrate his fitness for the duties to which he is appointed by actual perfomiance of the <br />duties of lus position. <br />SECTION 18: PROMOTION The movement of an employee and corresponding change in his <br />employment status from one class to another class with a higher m�imum rate of pay.
