R-36-99 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. <br />R-40-96 AS IT PERTAINS TO THE ALLOCATION OF <br />FIREWORKS LICENSES FOR YOUTH GROUPS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton approved Resolution R-40-96 on April 16, 1996; <br />WHEREAS, Resolution R-40-96 establishes an approved list of organizations <br />I entitled to be issued a license to operate a fireworks booth and to sell fireworks within <br />the City of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, this Resolution shall remain in effect until further action by resolution <br />of the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, representatives of all the approved Youth Organizations met on two <br />occasions to discuss an alternate way of sharing; and <br />WHEREAS, a majority vote was taken and an alternate means of sharing was <br />agreed upon. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton, California that Section 3 of Resolution No. R-40-96 is amended to allocate the <br />fireworks booths for the Youth Groups as follows: <br />Youth Groups - The allocation arrangement, beginning with the July 4, 1999 <br />program and alternating with each fireworks selling season, is as follows: <br />V <br />'/H <br />Colton T-Ball/Carl Rimbaugh's Girl Softball <br />Ken Hubbs Little League/Colton Youth Football <br />I <br />
