The City Council finds and determines that George E. Brown Jr., <br />Congressman, has made a great contribution to his community and to the residents of the City <br />of Colton, and that, in accord with the provisions of Resolution R-1 16A-93, it is appropriate to <br />name a City Park after Congressman George E. Brown Jr. in honor of his personal leadership <br />and example of strength of character and integrity that he set for members of his community. <br />Section 2. From this day forward, the City Park previously known as West Valley <br />Park shall be named George E.
