• The location is suitable and will not pose a nuisance to the neighborhood <br />or disrupt the peace and solitude of a residential area. <br />3. Authorizes the Chief of Police to impose conditions on the dance permit, <br />including the following: <br />• Prohibiting disorderly conduct on the premises; <br />• Prohibiting mosh pits, slam dancing, crowd surfing and stage diving; <br />• Requiring each establishment to provide on-site security personnel. <br />4. Authorizes the Chief of Police to suspend, deny, revoke or not renew <br />applications for specified violations or disturbances. <br />Finally, the revised ordinance also provides an applicant with appeal <br />rights to the City Council. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The City may realize a slight increase in revenue because dance permits will have to be <br />renewed annually upon payment of a renewal fee. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING CHAPTER 5.32 OF THE <br />COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PUBLIC DANCES AND PUBLIC <br />DANCE HALLS <br />Report Prepared By: Marco A.
