Section 33445 - Benefit Findings: <br />Those projects that are located within the project area include: <br />- Improvements to Dauer Park and Cooley Park <br />- Hunts Lane Street Lights, Landscape and Sidewalk <br />- Landscape Improvements —SEC Wash/Barton <br />- Signal Modifications —Hunts/Steel Rd. <br />- Signal Modifications — Wash./Reche Cyn. <br />- Signal Modifications — Wash./ Hunts Lane <br />- New Signal — Hunts Lane & Cooley Lane <br />The Improvements to Dauer Park and Cooley Park can be shown to benefit the Project Area <br />and surrounding neighborhood as follows: <br />The installation of various improvements to these parks including new stainless <br />steel fixtures in restrooms, the installation of new ADA compliant playground <br />equipment, and a shade structure will make the park(s) more accessible and <br />usable to the residents in the area. <br />The improvements to Hunts Lane can be shown to benefit the Project Area and surrounding <br />neighborhood as follows: <br />Hunts Lane is a secondary arterial road, which provides traffic circulation ingress <br />and egress through the project area. The installation of sidewalks, lighting and <br />landscaping will enhance the visual aesthetics of the area, improve safety, will <br />serve as an element of community design and provide needed pedestrian <br />improvements that are lacking in the area. <br />The installation or improvement to various traffic signals can be shown to benefit the project <br />area as follows: <br />Hunts Lane and Washington Drive are major arterial roadways that provide the <br />project area with ingress and egress north/south and east/west. Improvements <br />to three (3) and the installation of one (1) new traffic signal at various <br />intersections on Hunts Lane and Washington Drive will provide the project area <br />with improved circulation, more efficient traffic flows, and increased safety. <br />Those projects that are located outside of the project area include: <br />- City Entrance Sign — Washington/Waterman <br />- Washington Street Median/Drainage <br />- Reche Canyon Widening/Sidewalk <br />- Reche Canyon Realignment <br />The Washington Street Median Improvement Project, which includes the installation of a City <br />entrance Sign, can be shown to benefit the Project Area as follows: <br />
