The 4 Roles of Leadershipo Workshop Outline The smooth current of business is history. Today, turbulence reigns in what Stephen R. Covey terms the "permanent whitewater world." Good management skills are still very important for the day to day, but navigating whitewater successfully must begin with effective leadership. The 4 Roles of Leadership is a new three-day workshop from Franklin Covey that delivers the tools, processes, and context to lead successfully - even in a time of turbulent change. FIRST DAY • Getting Results 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. Introduces the four roles and identifies the need in a constantly 8 a.m. - 12 pm. changing business world for the direction and constancy each 12 p.m. - 1 p.m role provides. 1 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. • Pathfinding Focuses on questions a pathfinding leader must answer. You will be able to apply the pathfinding elements of stakeholder needs, mission and values, and vision and strategy to an actual initiative. SECOND DAY • Aligning You will look at the importance of a balanced work ecosystem, the parts of the ecosystem, and how those parts work together. • Empowering You will identify conditions of empowerment, look at your leadership style, and apply win-win thinking and Win -Win A reements0 to your initiative. THIRD DAY • Modeling You will look at your character and competence (trustworthiness), and identify where you can improve your trustworthiness so others will have confidence in your leadership. • Profile Explanation (Optional) Provides 360B feedback on your leadership based on your profile pre -work, which can then be applied to a leadership action plan.
