District Agreement No. 8-1099 and location, advertising, award, contract administration, resident engineer, independent assurance and specialty testing and such other construction engineering as may be required for satisfactory completion of PROJECT and bear STATE's share of the actual expense thereof. Estimates of such costs are shown on Exhibit A, attached and made a part of this Agreement. (2) To construct PROJECT by contract in accordance with plans and specifications of STATE. (3) To pay an amount equal to 75 % of the actual signal, lighting and roadwork related construction cost, estimated to be $135,000 as indicated on Exhibit "A". In no event shall STATE's total oblicration for construction costs under this Agreement, excluding 0 W costs referred to in Section III, Article (9), exceed the amount of $155,250, provided that STATE may, at its sole discretion, in writing, authorize a greater amount. (4) To pay an amount equal to 75% of the actual signal, lighting and roadwork preliminary L - engineering costs, estimated to be $27,000 as indicated on Exhibit "A". (5) To pay an amount equal to 75 % of the actual signal, lighting and roadwork construction engineering cost, estimated to be $27,000 as indicated on Exhibit "A". (6) Upon completion of PROJECT and all work incidental thereto, to furnish CITY with a detailed statement of the portion of construction costs to be bome by CITY, including resolution of any construction related claims which have been allowed to the construction contractor. STATE thereafter shall refund to CITY promptly after completion of STATE's audit, any amount of CITY's deposit required in Section II, Article (1) remaining after actual costs to be borne by CITY have been deducted, or to bill CITY for any additional amount required to complete CITY's financial obligations pursuant to this Agreement. (7) To maintain the entire traffic control signal and safety lighting as installed and pay an amount equal to 100% of the total maintenance costs. (8) To operate the traffic control signal as installed and pay 100% of the operation cost. (9) To furnish the traffic signal control equipment for PROJECT. This equipment shall consist of signal controller unit and signal control cabinet. The estimated cost of this STATE -furnished equipment is $7,000, and shall be deducted from STATE's share of the PROJECT costs. 01
