(This assumes salary adjustment per compensation study 7/1 <br />benchmarked with Principal Librarian.) <br />EXPECTED FILL DATE <br />After approval, position will be filled as soon as possible <br />CUSTOMER SERVICE IMPACT <br />The Assistant City Librarian will be second -in -command of the Library and will act in the City <br />Librarian's place in his/her absence. This position will ensure quality library services to Colton <br />citizens and is critical to the smooth functioning of the organization. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve the recruitment, job description, ratification of <br />employee appointment, and salary resolution for the upgraded position of Assistant City <br />Librarian. <br />This recommendation has been reviewed and approved by the Colton Public Library Board of <br />Trustees. <br />Attachments: Resolution <br />Job Description <br />Agd06O600 Asst City Librarian <br />ITEM NO. <br />
