R- 37-00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PRO TEM OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON TO SIGN THE DELEGATE AGENCY <br />AGREEMENT AND ITS ATTACHMENTS FOR COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL <br />YEARS 2000-2001, 2001-2002, AND 2002-2003, WITH THE <br />SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC <br />AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has been notified <br />by the County of San Bernardino Department of Economic and <br />Community Development of its eligibility to participate in the County's <br />Three -Year Community Development Block Grant Cooperating Cities <br />Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has entered into a Cooperating Cities <br />Agreement which is binding for three years; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that the City is <br />now requested to enter into a Delegate Agency Agreement and its <br />attachments, pursuant to Section 12 of the Cooperating Cities Agreement, <br />which are set forth to further implement the provisions of the Cooperating <br />Cities Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that the Delegate <br />Agency Agreement and its attachments are specifically subordinate and <br />supplementary to, and concurrent with, the Cooperating Cities <br />Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept said Delegate <br />Agency Agreement, its attachments, and the conditions and <br />responsibilities that relate to said Agreement. <br />
