The territory included within assessment district as described in Section 4 shall be designated as "Landscape and Lighting District No. 2." Section 2 Callina a Property Owner Protest Proceeding: The City Cour has determined at this time to call a property owner protest proceeding therein authorize the formation, the levy of the assessments (as such assessments more particularly outlined in the Report), and the proposed assessment ran formula. The City Council finds that the public's best interest requires such levy a collection. Section 3 Description of proposed improvements: The improv within the District include: the operation, maintenance and servicing of Ian improvements along Meridian Avenue, Pepper Avenue, Randall Avenue, I D'Arcy Lane, and Porfirio Lane. Section 4 Boundaries and Desi_anation: The District consists of all parce located south of Randall Avenue and west of the Edison Easement; North of S, Bernardino Avenue and east of Pepper Avenue, development areas known "Pacific Century Homes — Tract Nos. 14158 and 14159; and Young Homes Tract Nos. 14391-1, 14391-2, 15165-1, 15165-2, 15873, 16025 and 16236". TI territory is within the City of Colton, within the County of San Bernardino, State California. The proposed district is designated as: "Landscaping and Lighth District No. 2." Section 5 Proposed Assessment Amounts: For Fiscal Year 2002/: the proposed assessments for the District is outlined in the Formation Annual Levy Report, which details the annual assessment. Section 6 Public Hearin-g(s) : The City Council hereby declares its intent to conduct a Public Hearing annually concerning the formation and levy assessments for the District in accordance with Chapter 2, Article 1, Seci 22587 (e) of the Act. Section 7 Notice: The City Clerk shall give notice of the time and place the Public Hearing by causing the publishing of this Resolution once in the lo, paper for two consecutive weeks not less than ten (10) days before the date the hearing and by posting a copy of this Resolution on the official bulletin bo: customarily used by the City Council for the posting of notices. Section 8 Time of Public Hearing : Notice is hereby given that a Put Meeting and Hearing on these matters will be held by the City Council Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. (Public Hearing) or as soon thereafter
