City Council Meeting — December 18, 2001 <br />Submittal of CDBG Projects <br />Page 2 <br />informed by ECD that the City's CDBG allocation will be adjusted this year to reflect the new 2000 <br />Census population counts. As a result, the City's allocation may change from the current fiscal <br />year allocation of $382,000. We will be notified of the City's allocation amount in early February. <br />ENVHtONNIENTAL EWPACT: <br />All CDBG funded projects are required to comply with the federal National Environmental <br />Protection Act (NEPA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to determine <br />environmental impacts prior to implementation. <br />RECOMIMUMATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions: <br />1. Allow citizen comment on the CDBG Project Proposal Applications on the attached list. <br />2. Approve the submittal of the CDBG Project Proposal Applications on the attached list to the <br />County of San Bernardino for eligibility and qualification review for funding from the CDBG <br />Program for Fiscal Year 2002-2003. <br />3.
