In that capacity we are in receipt <br />of your claim for damages to your truck while parked in the driveway. <br />We have now completed our investigation into your claim by receiving and reviewing <br />the departmental report. On the date of the incident an independent contractor was <br />performing work on behalf of the City in your area. As the City did not cause your <br />damage, they would have no legal liability for causing your damages. However you may <br />want to pursue this matter through the contractor which not only is performing the work <br />but who also caused your damage.
