R-139-02 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2002 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2003 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved an Instruction Materials Grant in the <br />amount of $2,161 for the Colton Childcare Program, and <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2002 and ending June 30, 2003 was approved and adopted on June 15, 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may <br />be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, <br />California authorizes entering into local agreements number GIMS-2508 and that the City <br />Manager is authorized to sign the applicable documents for the entity. Therefore, it will be <br />necessary to make an amendment to the 2002/2003 Year Budget, increasing expenditure <br />Account 206-7200-7202-2304 in the amount of $2,161, and increasing Revenue Account No. <br />206-5765 by the grant amount of $2,161. <br />SECTION _2: The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated <br />herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 3rd DAY OF December 2002. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
