responding to service calls created by disturbances of the peace is attached to this report <br />as Exhibit "A" and copies have been made available for public review, as required by law. <br />In order to establish the calculated fee, the City Attorney's office has prepared a proposed <br />resolution for adopting new charges for various Police and Code Enforcement services <br />provided by the City. The resolution sets the amount of the service fee at $30 per hour, <br />billed at one-quarter hour increments, for responding to public nuisances created by <br />repeated disturbances of the peace. Adopting the proposed resolution will allow the City <br />to recover its costs for Police and Code Enforcement personnel responding to these types <br />of service calls. <br />TERNATIVES: <br />Adopt Resolution relating to new charges for various Police and Code Enforcement <br />services provided by the City. <br />Take no action. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Recovery of the actual costs incurred by the City for responding to public nuisances <br />created by repeated disturbances of the peace as described in this report would be a <br />beneficial impact to the City. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council 1) adopt Resolution adopting certain new charges <br />for various Police and Code Enforcement services provided by the City. <br />Report Prepared By: <br />Attachment: Exhibit "A" <br />TEAM ONLY <br />Attorney: iTD % <br />Manager: <br />Sonia R.
