SCOPE OF PROPOSED SERVICES <br />To achieve preparation of the necessary documents to facilitate addition of the gaps to our <br />current contract, services will in general entail field survey, design and preparation of plans, <br />specifications, and estimates. Tasks anticipated are as follows. <br />Conduct research and review of available reference drawings. <br />Field inspections of both sites and survey at the Washington Drive site. <br />Prepare plan and profile of the two gap areas using available plans to the <br />maximum extent. We propose that information be inputted into a digital format <br />so that changes can be more easily made. <br />4. Design proposed crossings, and prepare plans for the pipeline construction. <br />5. Prepare and assist in submittal to the County Flood Control District for permit <br />issuance to allow construction of the crossings. <br />6. Submit to the City's Water and Wastewater Division as well as City's Public <br />Works Department for review and approval of the proposed design. <br />Finalize plans and prepare specifications and estimates for the work as an addition <br />to the current scope of construction for Montecito Reservoir and Reche Canyon <br />transmission pipeline. <br />PROPOSED FEE <br />JEA will complete the research, field measurements, design and preparation of plans, <br />specifications, and estimate for a lump sum amount of $8,900. This amount would be an <br />additional service and, therefore, a contract change order to our current services contract. <br />Work will be initiated and completed upon your approval and authorization.
