Page 2 <br />With Council's approval they would apply for an ABC License and meet any other requirements <br />imposed by the City. City staff, however, does not recommend that a "Beer Garden" be a part of <br />the anniversary activities since the day's activities are youth oriented. <br />The Utilities Department has been requested to provide several temporary power poles on the East <br />Side of "E" Street between "10th" Street and Colton Avenue. Additional power is required for the <br />various booths within the park. The Department has approved this request. <br />The Fire Department has approved a plan for the Fireworks Show to be held on the ball field within <br />the park. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />There would be minimal impact to department budgets for this event. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends City Council approval the request submitted by Ken Hubbs Little League for <br />their Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration on March 23, 2002 to include a parade, various street <br />closures, a fireworks show, temporary parking and electrical poles.
