R-11-02 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />PROVIDING FOR A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR THE <br />DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF UNITY DAY IN <br />COLTON <br />WHEREAS, since that dark day of September 11, 2001 our country has <br />experienced a resurgence of unity, and <br />WHEREAS, that sense of unity has not only swept the country, but individual <br />citizens as well, and <br />WHEREAS, a Unity Day for the City of Colton is proposed for Sunday, April <br />28, 2002. It is estimated that the event will cost $10,000, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2001/2002 <br />Fiscal Year Budget, increasing the Expenditures in the Parks, Recreation and Family <br />Services Department, Account Number 100-6200-6214-2300 draw funds from <br />unappropriated fund balance, and Account Number 100-2970 for the amount of <br />$10,000. <br />SECTION 2. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted an incorporated <br />herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of January 2002. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
