Specialized training in electric meter maintenance is <br />desirable. <br />License/Certificate: <br />Possession of a valid class C California driver's license. <br />]KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SHILLS: <br />Knowledge of: <br />Safety procedures for connecting and disconnecting electric meters. <br />The geography and streets of the utility system. <br />City policies and procedures regarding utility services. <br />Common causes and remedies for electric consumption problems. <br />Ability to: <br />Investigate and determine reasons for unusual electric consumption and other service <br />problems. <br />Interpret and explain City policies and procedures in a tactful and effective manner. <br />Skill to: <br />Operate a motor vehicle on City streets. <br />Approved by council: 11/19/91 <br />
