ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />The construction of the additional Groundwater Monitoring Well and installation of the <br />underground cable is connected to a site investigation being conducted in association with the State <br />of California Regional Water Quality Control Board. The work is being monitored on-site by the <br />Department of Fish and Wildlife. <br />FINANCIAL/FISCAL IMPACT <br />The fees for the Encroachment Permit, Street Cut Permit and Street Closure Application are paid by <br />the applicant (CHM211ill, Inc.). <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff respectfully recommends that the City Council authorize a continuous Street Closure of Slover <br />Avenue, between Sycamore Avenue and South Pepper Avenue, from 12:00 AM, June 23, 2002 <br />until 12:00 AM July 7, 2002 for the purpose of installing a Groundwater Monitoring Well and <br />underground cable. <br />Attachments: Exhibit "A" — Application with Traffic Control & Approval from Fish & Wildlife <br />Report prepared by Dusty Dappen, Engineering Tech II. <br />REVIEW TEAM ONLY <br />City Attorney: AIA Finance Director: <br />City Manager: OTHER: <br />
