Agenda Report: <br />Automatic Aid and Paramedic Service Agreement With <br />County Service Area 70, 38, and 38-H <br />Page 2 <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The Paramedic service provided to CSA 38-H by the City will increase yearly revenue to the <br />General Fund by $7,750 over the current agreement. The automatic aid portion of the <br />agreement does not have a financial impact. <br />The costs incurred in providing Paramedic service to CSA 38-H are fully covered by the <br />$25,000 paid to the City for the service. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />The agreement does not have an environmental impact. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />The City Council may elect to disapprove the agreement, with the following results: <br />V A reduction of $17,250 in General Fund revenue. <br />A loss of one Engine Company from CSA 38 when responding to fire <br />emergencies in the areas specified in the agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of the Automatic Aid and Paramedic Service Agreement with CSA <br />70, CSA 38 and CSA 38-H for the period of May 1, 2002 through June 30, 2006. <br />REVIEW TEAM ONLY <br />City Attorney: �±4— ::4 <br />Finance Director: <br />OTHER: <br />
