IN THE AMOUNT OF $722,862.21 <br />DATE: MARCH 11, 2002 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Santa Ana River Project Area - Washington Medians Project, funded by the sale of Santa <br />Ana River Bonds, was approved for Engineering, Bidding and Construction on March 20, 2001. <br />The project, engineered by the consulting firm of LD King, was forwarded to the City of Colton <br />Engineering Department for administration of the bidding process in mid January of 2002. <br />The project is located within the existing center medians along Washington Street, between Hunt's <br />Lane and Weir Road. Construction includes the installation of storm drains, catch basins, curb and <br />gutter, enhanced stamped concrete, landscaping, irrigation and lighting. An existing curb return on <br />Barton Road is also included in the Project. <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />Bid Opening for the Santa Ana River Project Area - Washington Medians Project was held <br />March 4, 2002.
