DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />The contractor has completed the work, as specified in the contract, meeting and satisfying all requirements. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />The public improvements were deemed Exempt under section 15301 (Existing Facilities) of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />The project is funded by the County of San Bernardino Department of Economic and Community <br />Development (E.C.D.) for this Community Development Block Grant (C.D.B.G.) Project. This is a 100% <br />reimbursable project, with funds advanced by the City upon completion by the contractor. <br />Additional State Grant funds in the amount of $50,000.00 were received from the State of California for <br />allocation to the Carnegie Public Library, (Funds deposited in Revenue account Number 457-5791). Since <br />funds were received in the previous Fiscal Year 2001/2002, it is necessary to amend that Fiscal Year Budget <br />by resolution, so as funding can be transferred to this Fiscal Year budget 2002/2003 and allocated to the <br />Colton Museum Restoration Project. The total amount allocated to this project is shown on attachment (2). <br />The total Project Funds available for this project is $198,027.00, with the account break down as follows: <br />Account # 215-7000-7007-3890 in the amount of $148,027.00 <br />Account #457-6800-6842-3890 in the amount of $50,000.00 <br />The total cost of the construction contract including the Change Orders is $156,689.50. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />1. Approve and Adopt the attached Resolution, Amending the Budget for Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2001 and ending June 30, 2002 <br />2. Staff recommends final acceptance of the Colton Museum Restoration C.D.B.G. Project # 104-22212 <br />Project, in the amount of $156,689.50 and requests that City Council authorize and accept the Notice of <br />Completion for this project. <br />3.
