In that capacity we are in receipt <br />Of your claim for damages to your vehicle when you drove over a hole in the road on <br />Valley Boulevard. <br />We have now completed our investigation into your claim by receiving and reviewing <br />the departmental report. The City of Colton was not performing any work in the area of <br />Your mishap; further, they did not contract out for any work to be performed in this area. <br />Unfortunately the contractor you indicated in your letter is not associated with the City <br />and with that in mind, the City does not have any control over his actions in the area of <br />Your incident. <br />With the above in mind, we have recommended denial of your claim.
