City <br />Council direction to staff was to immediately release the $10,000 (due to them <br />on January 31, 2003) and release the next $10,000 on April 30, 2003, pending <br />Chamber signature on the MOU document. Terms of the MOU were to include <br />deeding the property to them at 655 North La Cadena (Engineering portion of the <br />building(s) only — not Community Development portion), Chamber vacation of <br />their existing space at City Hall, a provision to lease back space to the <br />Engineering Department, if needed, not to exceed $2,000 per month, bringing <br />the building up to code by the City (including ADA requirements at a City hard <br />cost not to exceed $25,000, and other reasonable measures to effectuate their <br />relocation to 655 North La Cadena.
