In that capacity we are in receipt <br />of your claim for damage to your appliances as a result of a faulty ground connection. <br />We have now completed our investigation into your claim by receiving and reviewing the <br />departmental report. The City crew inspected the line and found the neutral conductor <br />was broken, however this broken connection would not have caused your problem. Thew <br />inspection revealed there was nothing malfunctioning in the service lines which would <br />be related to the City's services provided to your home. The City has no responsibility <br />for the proper working order of your neutral conductor. <br />With the above in mind, we have recommended denial of your claim.
