PWI <br />May 1, 2003 <br />Page 2 <br />Throughout the term of the contract, the amount will vary according to individual worker productivity as <br />determined through ongoing time studies. As pay is directly related to productivity, the contract ensures <br />equitable pay for work completed. Costs will be adjusted either up or down as required, but would not <br />exceed an increase of $500 per month beyond this year's estimate without being brought before the City <br />Council for direction and approval. <br />Because the City is currently experiencing a financial downturn, the use of PWI clients is necessary for <br />general custodial maintenance of City buildings on a daily basis.
