1 of Colton hereby adopts and approves this Resolution initiating an application for <br />annexation of certain territory contained within the City's sphere of influence into the City <br />2 of Colton pursuant to the Cortese -Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985, as <br />3 amended. The Local Agency Formation Commission of San Bernardino County is hereby <br />4 requested to take proceedings for the annexation as that territory is described in the <br />attached Exhibit "A" in the manner provided by the Cortese -Knox Local Government <br />5 Reorganization Act of 1985, as amended. <br />6 <br />7 SECTION 2.
