ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: The contractor has completed the work and satisfied all the requirements of contract terms and agreement. The project commenced on April 12, 2004 and was completed on September 15, 2004. CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Exact Business Name: International Pavement Solutions, Inc. President or equal: Dennis C. Rieger Contact or representative: Dennis C. Rieger ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: The proposed public improvements are exempt under CEQA Section 15301 (b) — Repairs of existing highways and streets. FINANCIAL/FISCAL IMPACT: The CMA allocated $316,250 to residential curbs, gutters and sidewalks, of which $33,140 has been spent on the design of the project, leaving a balance of $283,110. On January 20, 2004, City Council authorized the reallocation of funds in the amount of $274,660 for this project from Fairway Drive Widening Project, which has not progressed out of the design phase due to difficulties with right of way acquisition. The combine total of the two (2) funding is $557,770 (account no. 457-9160-9163-3890), which is enough to cover the total cost of the project in the amount of $529,213.03, including Change Order No. 1 ($31,239.78). RECOMMENDATION: ■ Staff respectfully recommends Final Acceptance of Residential Missing Link Project in the amount of $529,213.03 and requests that the City Council authorize filing a Notice of Completion for this project. ■ Staff recommends that Council approve the execution and recordation of this document.
