R-77-04 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2004 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2005 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved a Pre -Kindergarten Resource Grant <br />in the amount of $1,451 for the Colton Early Childhood Education Program, and <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />2004 and ending June 30, 2005 was approved and adopted, and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by <br />approval and resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, <br />California authorizes entering into local agreement number GPKR-3427 and that the City <br />Manager is authorized to sign the applicable documents for the entity. Therefore, it will be <br />necessary to make an amendment to the 2004/2005 Fiscal Year Budget, increasing <br />expenditure account No. 206-7200-7203-2304 in the amount of $1,451, and increasing <br />revenue account No. 206-5580 by the grant amount of $1,451. <br />SECTION 2: The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated <br />herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6T" day of July, 2004. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
