Cooley Ranch Mohave Drive Subdivision — includes Chumash Ave., Mojave Drive, <br />Cahuilla Drive, Cindee Lane, Skyview Drive, Laurelwood Drive and Walter Court. <br />c. Cooley Ranch Wood Street Subdivision - includes Valleywoods, Saddlewood, <br />Applewood, Pepperwood, Plumwood, Smokewood, Elmwood, Peachwood, <br />Smallwood, Riverwood and Mountainwood. <br />d. Cooley Drive — from I-215 (end of EDA project) to Cooley Lane. <br />e. Cooley Ranch — Old Ranch Road Subdivision — includes Old Ranch Road, Canyon <br />View, Valley Springs, Blue Ridge and Mountain View. <br />f. Reche Canyon Road Drainage & Street Improvement <br />Some of these streets require reconstruction and rehabilitation by cold planing and overlay and <br />other are slated for slurry seal and crack seal. The estimated cost for all of these proposed <br />improvements is $1,500,000. <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />On March 16, 2004, the City Council authorized award of contract to GK and Associates for the <br />engineering design of this project. Plans and specifications have been submitted to the City for <br />review and the final plan and specification are expected to be ready for bid process by July 22, <br />2004. The estimated cost of the project is $1,500,000. <br />Staff will make every effort to ensure that a wide range of potential Bidders are reached by the <br />advertising process. The City will advertise in three (3) local newspapers and in several Plan <br />Houses where Contractors can view Plans, Specifications, and Documents. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />The proposed public improvements are exempt under CEQA Section 15301 (c) — Repairs of <br />existing highways and streets. A Notice of Exemption will be filed to the office of County Clerk of <br />the Board of Supervisor. <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL/FISCAL IMPACT <br />The funding sources and use for each of the proposed projects, as well as the account number, are <br />identified in the chart below. All of these items have been budgeted for and approved in the Capital <br />Improvement Program budget. <br />
