Staff further discussed this change with EPA and was successful in <br />obtaining verbal concurrence from them to utilize the $24,000 balance of funds appropriated for the <br />Phase II assessments on the Regional Park properties for Phase I assessments on properties at <br />the north end of Mt. Vernon across from Valley College. <br />This amendment will entail a minor change to the scope of work and will not affect the MOA, other <br />factors of the SuppoR Agreement, or any funding. The change will redirect funds to be utilized for <br />completing Phase I assessments on 21 parcels: APNs 0160-183-26, 0160-183-25, 0160-183-24, <br />0160-183-23, 0160-183-22, 0160-183-21, 0160-183-20, 0160-183-19, 0160-183-18, 0160-183-17, <br />0160-183-16, 0160-183-15, 0160-183-14, 0160-183-13, 0160-183-12, 0160-183-11, 0160-183-10, <br />0160-183-09,0160-183-08,0160-183-07,and 0160-183-06. <br />It should also be noted that the money will be lost if not used by the grant extension date of March <br />31, 2005. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />The COE was paid $94,920 in advance from the EPA Brownfields Grant to COE for completion of <br />Support Agreement No. 2 to the MOA. This amendment will redirect $24,000 of unused funds for <br />Phase II assessments for the Regional Park to competing Phase I assessments for the North Mt. <br />Vernon properties. There will be no additional funding requirements from the City or Agency. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There are no environmental impacts associated with this amendment to the scope of work for <br />Support Agreement No. 3 to the MOA. <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST - Gift Disclosure Requirements <br />United States Army Corps of Engineers <br />Alex C.
