In short, there is the <br />infrastructure in place to carryout this critical program. There is no reason to throw it out <br />and create a new statute, regulations, and implementation scheme. <br />On behalf of the City of Colton, I urge you to intercede with your colleagues and preserve <br />the CDBG Program by opposing the proposed cuts in the FY 2006 budget. <br />For your reference, enclosed is City of Colton Resolution No. R-21-05, opposing the <br />elimination of the CDBG Program, which was approved and adopted by the Colton City <br />Council on March 15, 2005.
