.._... .... . . .... . ... .... . . . . .. .. . _..,__ i_... <br />City Council Meeting — November 1, 2005 <br />Professional Services Agreement with MBA <br />Page2of2 <br />In view of MBA's preparation and first hand familiarity with this matter, staff is requesting Council <br />concur with the City Manager's determination to enter into a professional services agreement with <br />Michael Brandman Associates to provide environmental consulting work in support of a Re- <br />circulated Draft Environmental Impact Report (RDEIR). <br />MBA has submitted a proposal with a scope of services required for the RDEIR. The consultant <br />will evaluate all of the areas found to be in need of additional clarification by the Court within the <br />following three primary factors: (1) Traffic, (2) Hazardous Materials, and (3) Air Quality. The total <br />cost of the consultant's proposal shall not exceed One Hundred Forty-Five Thousand, Eight <br />Hundred and Seventy-Five Dollars ($145,875). <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />Accept the Court's ruling and initiate proceedings to revoke the entitlements for the project. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />No impact to the City General Fund.
