NAvIGANT
•
City risk management programs and policies and authority delegations will be reviewed
so that the final work product is consistent with City policy.
Task 9 — Prepare and Present Report
NCI will provide both a draft report and final report for this assignment. The purpose
of the draft report is to give Colton Electric staff the opportunity to provide comments
and ask questions that can be addressed prior to the submission of the final report. A
meeting will be held shortly after Colton Electric receives the draft report so that any
comments raised by Colton Electric personnel can be discussed and addressed.
NCI envisions the report to address several areas including:
❖ NCI's methodology supporting its framework and analytical approach
❖ An assessment of the Colton Electric portfolio risk
❖ Approaches and/or practices used by others in their fuel procurement and purchased
power activities
❖ Appropriateness of hedging activities as a tool for managing risk
❖ NCI's overall assessment of Colton Electric's risk exposure
❖ Reliability, security and vulnerability issues
Catton Electric — Risk Assessment and Management Plan 6
