7 Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to tentatively approve <br />the Insurance Budget. Unanimous vote. <br />General Obligation Bonds <br />Assistant Finance Director Young reviewed the General Obligation Bonds Budget, say- <br />ing that these were voted upon by the electors of the City and are due to be paid <br />off in 1985 and 1986. One of the bonds is that of the 1965 Railway Underpass and <br />the other is that for the Civic Center Building. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to tentatively approve <br />the General Obligation Bonds Budget. Unanimous vote. <br />Finance - Budget Administration, Auditing & Accounting, Purchasing & Inventory. <br />Assistant Finance Director Young said his areas of responsibility are Budget Ad- <br />ministration, Auditing & Accounting, and Purchasing & Inventory within the Finance <br />Department. Mr. Young said he proposes and requests the purchase of a copier to <br />be located in the Finance Department and this will be a cost saving in time spent <br />traveling to and from the main xerox machine and waiting to use the machine. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to tentatively ap- <br />prove the Budget Administration, Auditing & Accounting, Purchasing & Inventory <br />Budgets within the Finance Department. Unanimous vote. <br />Councilman Rehrer asked whether or not office equipment was being set up for de- <br />preciation. <br />Staff responded not at the present time. Mr. Trevino asked City Attorney Edwards <br />to look into the State Statute to determine whether or not there is a law regulat- <br />ing annual inventory of tangible assets. <br />Finance - Utility Billing and Taxes & Receivables <br />City Manager Trevino reported this budget falls under the responsibility of Mrs. <br />Ruby Andengaard. Mr. Trevino stated staff has reviewed the budget and recommends <br />approval. <br />Moved by Councilmwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to tentatively <br />approve the Utility Billing and Taxes & Receivables Budget with the Finance <br />Department. Unanimous vote. <br />Park Maintenance <br />City Manager Trevino reported this budget remains pretty much the same as last <br />year's with only severely needed equipment being replaced. <br />Councilwoman Garcia asked how the division was getting along since the CETA <br />Personnel have been cut. <br />City Manager Trevino responded that it is taking longer to get the various tasks <br />done, but the Parks Crew is managing. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to tentatively approve <br />the Parks Maintenance Budget. Unanimous vote. <br />Auto Shops <br />City Manager Trevino reported there has has not been any major change in the Auto <br />Shops Budget. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to tentatively approve <br />the Auto Shops Budget as recommended. Unanimous vote. <br />Community Development Act/CDA Administration <br />City Manager Trevino states this budget is for the administration of the Community <br />Development Act Grant Funds. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to tentatively approve <br />the Community Development Act/CDA Administration Budget.
