3 4 Mr. Fazio stated that, in accordance with State law, all zoning amendments will continue to be heard by a full Planning Commission and City Council. Discussion was then held among Council Members, Planning Commission and Staff with regard to Conditional Use Permits and Variances, appeals/denials, and the new pro- cedures proposed for these provisions. Mayor Gonzales thanked Mr. Fazio and Staff for the presentation and report, stating that after the required public hearings, the proposed zoning ordi- nance will again be presented to the City Council for final approval. ADJOURNMENT: Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia and unanimously passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 6:50 p. m. HELEN A.
